Everyday, MAGA billionaires and their politicians show us just how out of touch they are with real life for regular Americans.
Yesterday, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins stated: "We've run over 1,000 simulations. It can cost around $3 a meal for a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing. So there is a way to do this that actually will save the average American consumer money."
I've had thousands of conversations with real people in this district and this is what we call B.S.
Families are being squeezed at stores. And as one of the biggest agriculture producing districts in the country, we are facing a crisis. Farmers are being forced to sell their land, they lost market access with tariffs, inputs are up, and Boebert just passed a bill to give a hand out to billionaires. This is why farmers describe it as a land grab plot.
Meanwhile grocery store buyers price-gouge, meatpacking monopolies fix prices, and the spending power of the American dollar continues to fall every day.
And Lauren Boebert supports all of this. These people don't buy groceries. And we aren't buying their lies.
