By now you've probably heard of the Hell Cats, John – the group of female veterans embarking on their next chapter in service to our country by running for Congress in 2026. Why are they called that? In honor of the Lady Hell Cats, the nickname given during World War II to the first female members of the U.S. Marines who served.
And as a veteran myself, I know firsthand how service-driven leadership can win even in the toughest of districts. That's why I'm ready to do everything in my power to help Democrats Maura Sullivan (NH-01), Rebecca Bennett (NJ-07), Cait Conley (NY-17), and JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06) win in their districts and flip the House blue.

We've done this before, John: We had historic wins in 2018 during the first Trump administration, electing a new wave of female veterans, like me, and former national security officials to help flip control of the House.
So I know we've got what it takes to do it again – especially with these four leaders running for office. I'm ready to do whatever it takes to help increase the number of women with a background in service being elected to Congress. And that's because I know women can reach places men cannot. And yes, that makes a difference.
