Dear Judicial Watch Member,
Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a
sweeping 7-2 decision in our historic election case
(Rep. Michal J. Bost et. al. v. Illinois State Board of
Elections), broadly affirming candidate standing to bring
election disputes to federal court.
As you know from my prior updates, your Judicial Watch
filed this lawsuit on behalf of Congressman Mike Bost and two presidential
electors who were seeking to vindicate their standing to challenge an
Illinois law which allows the counting of ballots received up to 14 days
after Election Day.
This is the most important Supreme Court election law ruling in
a generation.
I want to sincerely THANK YOU for reading my e-mail updates and sharing
Judicial Watch content online which helps more Americans learn about our
election law team’s historic work.
As our client Rep. Bost said immediately after the ruling:
This is a critically important step forward in
the
fight for election integrity and fair
elections
You’re an active subscriber to our emails, and like many of our online
supporters, I’m guessing election integrity is something you care deeply
about.
I invite you to mark
this historic win by taking the next step and making a first-time
gift to Judicial Watch and our leading efforts to fight for clean
and fair elections.
Thank you for the role you played to help to make this victory possible.
I sincerely hope to welcome you as a contributor to help fuel our next
win.
Sincerely,
Thomas Fitton President
P.S. In the coming months, your Judicial Watch will return to the
Supreme Court to challenge Mississippi’s law which allows ballots to be
counted that are received up to 5 days after election day. This is in
addition to our unprecedented legal efforts which have resulted in removing
5 million invalid voters (and counting) from voter rolls around the
country.
Our team is doing the heavy lifting each day to fight for fair and
honest elections and to ensure your
financial support has maximum impact! Thank you!
