This isn’t new, Friend — but almost one year later after Ohio GOP Chair Alex Triantifilou was quoted as saying that “confusing Ohioans was not such a bad strategy” following the defeat of a 2024 redistricting amendment, their deceptive tactics have only gotten worse.

You don’t need to look any further than Republicans’ fight to ram S.B. 293, an extreme voter suppression bill, through the legislature to see what I mean.

From refusing to take questions on the bill to deliberately misleading Ohioans about its true consequences, it’s clear Republican lawmakers don’t want you to be informed. They want you to be confused, because your confusion just makes it easier for them to get what they want.

That’s why Allison’s calling them out and building a coalition of democracy defending Ohioans ready to mobilize behind a leader who will be relentless in protecting their voices and their votes.
