It’s symbolic (and painfully ironic) that America’s Big 250 falls during the most severe Constitutional Crisis in over a century.
Our Founders faced a similar crossroads back in 1776, as did Lincoln in 1860, and Roosevelt in 1941.
In the midst of uncertainty and extreme political tensions, our leaders were forced to ask themselves: What are we willing to sacrifice for freedom?
Freedom is like a precious family heirloom. Our forefathers paid for it with hunger, war, lawlessness, and bloodshed, and passed it down to us.
But it’s delicate. Under the boot of a tyrant, it will shatter.
So, with a lawless and corrupt president gunning for Americans’ freedom to speak, protest, vote, and live as we choose, we must once again ask ourselves: What are we willing to sacrifice for freedom?
John, fortunately, we’re a long way off from forming battle lines against the British Army or storming the beaches at Normandy. Instead, let's begin by forming lines at the polling station this November.
If you want to pass down the precious heirloom of American freedom to your kids; if you want us to be a beacon of freedom to the world for another 250 years, please invest $25 in my battleground campaign before tonight's mid-month fundraising deadline. Together, we can flip Virginia’s 2nd District and elect a House majority that actually puts America First.
Forward,
Elaine Luria
