Last week, under the direction of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the CDC announced a drastic change in the federal recommendation for the childhood immunization schedule — reducing their federal guidelines for the number of vaccines they recommend for all children, and disregarding decades of scientific research and evidence-based public health recommendations.
 
From day one, Governor Josh Green has opposed the appointment of RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary — warning the Senate and the American people about the dangers of his nomination.

Now we are seeing the dangerous consequences, and it’s putting our keiki at risk.

RFK Jr. has proven unfit to lead our nation’s public health efforts, and Governor Green continues to call for a change in HHS leadership so we can rebuild our health system and protect the lives of children.

Governor Green has also joined the West Coast Health Alliance to make sure that our public health policies are informed by scientists, clinicians, and other credible public health leaders.
