Friend, I’m going to be straight with you.
I didn’t spend my career enforcing the law to watch it be used like this.
Salvatore Oldrati wasn’t a problem cop. He wasn’t reckless. He wasn’t corrupt. He was named Officer of the Year,
twice.
He followed policy, did his job, and protected his community the way he was trained to do.
And now he’s been charged with
second-degree reckless manslaughter
—a charge that could end his career, bankrupt his family, and put him behind bars.
Defend Salvatore!
This isn’t about justice. It’s about power.
Across the country, radical prosecutors are targeting police officers to satisfy activists and score political points. They don’t care about facts or context, and they certainly don’t care about the officers who put their lives on the line every day.
I’ve watched this play out for years. First they indict the officer. Then they smear his name.
Then they drag the case out and hope he runs out of money before he ever gets a fair shot in court.
That’s the strategy. And too often, it works.
That’s why my friends at the National Center for Police Defense are fighting for Salvatore Oldrati.
We are not going to let him stand alone while prosecutors with unlimited taxpayer resources try to crush him. But I’ll be honest with you — this fight is expensive. Real defense takes experienced attorneys, expert witnesses, and investigators willing to tell the truth, and none of that comes cheap.
Salvatore didn’t ask to become a political target. He didn’t sign up to be sacrificed to make an example. He signed up to serve and protect.
Now it’s our turn to protect him.
Donate today to support Officer Salvatore Oldrati’s legal defense.
If they succeed in destroying this officer, they won’t stop here. They’ll move on to the next cop, and the next, until no one is willing to do the job anymore.
I’ve spent my life standing up to criminals and politicians who abuse their power, and I’m not stopping now. I hope you’ll stand with me.
Sincerely,
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
