Team—time flies. We’ve got just over three months to go before the general election. And one thing I’ve been thinking about a lot is how 2020’s challenges may have shifted your priorities as we head into this final stretch.

Can you take a second to tell me what your biggest priorities for this election are right now?

Some concerns will never go away—for example, with Mitch in office, our health care will always be under threat. But a lot has changed since we launched this campaign a year ago. Just the last several months have brought many important issues into even sharper focus—from the urgency of eradicating racial injustice to the crisis of millions of people being out of work due to the pandemic.

For too long, we’ve had a leader who takes marching orders from his special-interest friends while the people he represents are forgotten. I’m running to change that and make sure that this time next year, our concerns get the attention they deserve in Washington.
