And earlier this week, Connecticut residents elected Larry Pemberton to the 139th House District, covering Ledyard, Montville, and Norwich. A member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation, Rep-elect Pemberton will be the first Native American to serve in the Connecticut General Assembly. His decisive victory reflects the values of the communities he will represent. |
We are not slowing down. In just a few weeks, Fairfield voters will head to the polls for a special election on February 3rd to choose their First Selectperson. Democrat Christine Vitale is running to continue the work she has already begun for the town, and this race will be decided by turnout and local organizing. |
