Dear John,
Thanks to supporters like you, 2025 brought real progress for animals in captivity. Your support helped expose cruelty, challenge exploitative practices, and give hope to animals like McCoy.
McCoy is a bald eagle who spends much of his life tethered to a post. When we met him during an investigation, he reacted to every sound above him. Wings overhead. Birds passing by. Every instinct telling him to do what he was born to do - fly. But the leather around his leg keeps him grounded.
Your support helps us continue the work that gives McCoy and others a chance at a better life.

Because of your support, we’ve been able to expose cruelty inside bird of prey centres, advance the Free the Fifteen penguin campaign, and encourage animal-free alternatives at festive events.
And the work isn’t finished. With your continued support, we can:
* Keep advocating for animals held in captivity
* Expand investigations that bring hidden cruelty to light
* Help more animals experience freedom and safety
If you’re able, would you consider making a gift today ([link removed]) to keep this momentum going?

Every donation strengthens our campaigns and brings animals closer to the lives they deserve. McCoy, and countless others are counting on us.
For the animals,
