Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of a nation where justice was real, opportunity was shared, and dignity was not negotiable.

Today, that progress is under attack.

Across the country, civil rights protections are being stripped away.
Black history is being erased from public record.
Diversity and equity efforts are being criminalized.
And hundreds of thousands of Black women have been pushed out of jobs.
This is not hypothetical. It’s happening now.

And that’s why the National Urban League has declared a State of Emergency.

For more than 115 years, we’ve stood on the front lines of progress. And in this moment, we are mobilizing around one clear roadmap:
