With recovery now in sight, our plan for Oregon Coast coho enters a critical stageA decade ago, Wild Salmon Center and our Coast Coho Partnership allies launched a bold plan to recover Oregon’s threatened coho salmon runs. In watersheds across the state, we built scientific restoration roadmaps targeting the highest value projects in each river, and then got to work. With Oregon Coast coho showing clear signs of recovery, now is not the time to slow down. That’s why, even in challenging times for conservation, we’re scaling and speeding our work across the Pacific Northwest.
