Every progressive candidate you've heard of is always about issues and the people they want to represent. The politics of personality and charisma has, for too long, dominated our political culture. Charisma is simply a tool politicians use to charm you; a shield for their real intentions as careerist politicians.

Angelica Due?as has nothing to hide from her constituents, because her purpose is to serve them; not to gain power for the sake of power, not to move up the ranks of a political career, and certainly not to serve big-money interests or large corporations. If there's one personality trait that carries through our movement, it's that our candidates mean what they say, and actually have a desire to serve people.

That's why our campaign motto is People First - El Pueblo Primero!

Angelica Due?as is a candidate who addresses the issues. And, what are the issues? To start, 3 billionaires own more wealth than the bottom 50% of society; the issue is that our planet is facing environmental catastrophe because fossil fuel companies continue to push for more profits; the issue is that the bulk of our politicians are bought off (via campaign contributions) by large corporations, CEOs, and wealthy people in general! To be sure, there are many more notable mentions, and we intend to take them all head-on!

Yes, we will drive the influence of money out of politics. We will repeal Citizen's United. We will make the influence of dark money and super pacs straight-up illegal (again). We will support initiatives that put a cap on campaign spending.
