When the Republican-controlled legislature in Missouri passed an extremely gerrymandered congressional map, they thought it was a done deal that would hand President Trump an additional Republican seat in the House this November.

But they underestimated the people of Missouri. 

The Missouri Constitution gives voters the power to veto acts of the legislature — and more than 300,000 citizens have signed petitions to put the unfair map on the ballot. Now, map manipulators and Trump allies are pouring millions of dollars into a campaign to defeat it and silence the will of the people.
