SW Minterbrook Rd has reopened to traffic between Westbrook Dr SW and Eastbrook Dr SW following repairs at Minter Creek.
The road was previously closed after inspection by road shop crews identified an embankment failure on both sides of the 6-foot metal culvert. The culvert itself was not compromised, but the closure was necessary to allow crews to safely stabilize the embankment and repair the shoulder.
Motorists should be aware that loose gravel remains on the roadway. Loose Gravel and Motorcycle Warning signs are in place to alert drivers to current conditions. Please use caution while traveling through the area. Permanent paving is planned for next week, weather dependent.
