Here’s the deal, y’all, we’ve got a huge month ahead. Special election with a chance to flip a seat blue on Jan 31. Two days later, the voter registration deadline for the Texas primary.
January is hot this year.
We cannot miss this moment, that’s why we’re raising an additional $4,500 this week to supercharge our voter turnout organizing work and get Texas voters to the polls.
When Texans show up to vote, it sends a message to elected officials: you work for us. When they don’t, lawmakers get bolder, and rights disappear quickly & quietly. And we’ve seen what happens next. That’s why this moment matters, that’s why we need to show the GOP that Democrats in Texas are fighting back, and that’s why we need to strike while the iron is hot.
We have just a matter of days until the primary voter registration deadline on Monday, February 2, and we want everyone to have their voice heard at the polls on the March 3 primary.
