Thank YOU: Community, Pastitso, and Badass Women!
My Big Fat Greek Campaign Kickoff - Part 3!
Last Sunday, we launched my re-election campaign to the State House—and thanks to supporters like you, we were able to pack the house with over 80 attendees! Unlike a typical launch, I wanted to share the spotlight and highlight some badass women running for important positions here in Arizona. If you weren’t able to attend, or want to learn more about these amazing candidates and their platforms, visit the links below!

JoAnna Mendoza is a Marine Corp veteran running for U.S. Congress in Congressional District 6. A good friend of mine, Jo is a lifelong public servant that will use her experience as a mom and veteran to fight for Arizonans in Congress. As she always says, “MOM means Marine on a Mission!”: joannamendoza.com ([link removed])

Brooke St. George defines everything a public servant should be: someone with character and integrity, someone who cares, is smart, and will represent all of Tempe’s residents. She’s a former City Council Assistant and my former campaign manager, now running for Tempe City Council: brookefortempe.com ([link removed])
Melissa Harlan, Nicole Brown, and Regina Gutierrez are running for the SRP board and SRP council in order to stand up to unnecessary rate increases and protect clean energy!
We also had the fantastic organization Women4Women Tempe, who collect and distribute feminine hygiene packs for women and girls who might not have easy or affordable access to these products: women4womentempe.org ([link removed])

A special thank you to Denise and Marty Skalon for graciously opening your home, once again, to support Democratic values in LD12. I’m so grateful to be part of such an incredible community who are all such a huge part of the change we want to see. So please: Do what you can to support all these incredible women! Sign their petitions, donate if you can, get involved, or just spread the word for others to learn about how these women are a part of their communities!
I thank you all for your support as I dive into my third campaign for the State House!

Many of you got to chat with my new running mate, Armando Montero. For those of you who might not be aware, Armando has filed to run for the vacant seat for House in LD12.
Elected as the youngest member of the Tempe Union High School District Board in 2020 and now serving as the TUHSD Board President, Armando is exactly the person we need in the Legislature—to protect public education and build an Arizona we can afford.
I couldn’t be more proud to run alongside him this season, and I’m excited to serve with him in the House!
On January 25th, Armando is hosting his official campaign kickoff! If you haven’t already signed up, be sure to do so at the link below!

And of course, if you can, please sign both of our petitions to get us on the ballot!

Finally, it wouldn't be a political email without the obligatory ask for your donation to this campaign. Every little bit helps us get the word out and increase voter turnout! Let's work together to flip our State Legislature!
THANK YOU!!

It has been the honor of a lifetime to represent LD12 in our State Legislature, and I hope to continue this important work. Thank you so much for all of your support!
Yours Warmly,
Stacey
