Friend, it’s past time for ICE to get the hell out of Minnesota.

For weeks now, I have seen my community turned upside down by this group of violent, unaccountable thugs.

When masked federal agents can stop any person of color on the street and demand to see their proof of citizenship, we have officially thrown civil rights and Constitutional protections out the window.

When masked federal agents can drag citizens out of their cars, throw them to the ground, beat them, choke them, disappear them into unmarked vans, and even shoot them in the face with impunity, all order and sense have been lost.

The rule of law has been all but suspended in Minnesota. And it’s because Trump has zeroed in on our state so he can punish his political opponents with state violence. It’s right out of the fascist playbook we’ve seen throughout history.

My number one job as a member of Congress who represents Minneapolis is to fight for my constituents. I’m doing everything I can to protect my community, stand up to ICE, conduct oversight, and take on Trump from the streets of my city to the halls of Congress. I’m asking you to stand with me as I continue this important work.
