I retired from the United States Navy with the rank of Captain.

Everyone who has served in the military knows that rank is earned, not given.

I earned my rank flying into combat and launching into space.

The Secretary of Defense wants to take that rank away from me because I said something his boss didn’t like.

In the United States of America, that’s still unconstitutional. So, I’m suing him.

At the end of the day, Donald Trump and his Administration’s actions chill the rights of every military retiree, who could face censure, demotion, reduction in retirement pay, and even court-martial if they speak out against him.

I’m not going to stand for it.
