Donald Trump just gave the middle finger to workers... literally.

While touring a Ford plant in Detroit, Michigan yesterday afternoon, Trump was heckled by a worker who shouted “pedophile protector” as he walked by. Trump responded with the perfect epitome of how MAGA really feels about workers:

Trump and MAGA have zero respect for working people.

Trump has built his entire political career off this dog and pony show, promising to champion the causes of working people in front crowds and cameras on the campaign trail, only to give them a tiny middle finger once he gets into power.

Cutting healthcare, dismantling the National Labor Relations Board, attacking unions, destroying domestic manufacturing and farmers with his tariff policies, and all while simultaneously lining the pockets of his billionaire buddies. 

It’s why under Trump, billionaires can get tax write-offs for their private jets but blue collar workers can’t for their steel toed boots. 

My opponent Lauren Boebert voted for that. She talks a big game about labor too, but shows the same disdain for working people. She’s voted time and time again with Trump to screw over the working class and give them the middle finger:

That’s why she’s more vulnerable than she has ever been. Boebert is only in Congress because of 546 votes. In 2024 when I faced Boebert, our campaign overperformed VP Kamala Harris by nearly seven points. Now our campaign just outraised her by over a million dollars. 

Working with America’s unions at the national AFL-CIO, I was in the trenches fighting for working families every single day. That fight did not end when I launched this campaign. It is why I am running on a bold, unapologetic economic populist platform that puts working people first with real solutions, not empty promises.

I am running to bring working people back to the center of power in Washington. But Boebert is being propped up by billionaires and corporate money that want to keep things rigged.
