I want to be clear about what’s happening in Washington right now, because it matters to working families across our district.

After months of dangerous conduct and a tragic fatal shooting by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis, Democratic Representatives in the House – including myself – are moving to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

If that’s all you needed to hear, I’m asking you to add your voice to our shared call for Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment.

This is about accountability, oversight, and protecting everyday Americans from a federal bureaucracy that has lost its way. Under Noem’s leadership, local officials, community advocates, and Illinois elected leaders have raised alarms about aggressive enforcement tactics that have led to death and harm in communities from Chicago to Minneapolis.

We cannot let actions like this go unchecked.

As a Member of Congress, I take seriously my job to hold presidential administrations accountable.

Now is the time Congress must rein in the Trump Administration’s cruel attacks on immigrants and U.S. citizens. Secretary Noem is failing the American people by threatening, intimidating, and harassing my neighbors and I believe she must be removed from office.

So team, will you join mine and my colleagues’ calls for Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment?
