I will not back down to Donald Trump and this administration, no matter what they throw my way.

And the truth is, nothing they say is as damaging as the actual havoc they're wreaking in blue cities, spurred on by extremist, bigoted policies.

So I was annoyed, but unfazed, when the White House listed me as an "unhinged Democrat" and blatantly lied that I've 'declared war on law enforcement.'

The only thing I've 'declared' is that we need accountability from ICE as they're terrorizing our neighborhoods and harming innocent Americans. I will never apologize or back down from that.

Donald Trump is going after his political enemies, and entire groups of people, based on hatred. He is using hastily-trained, masked ICE soldiers as his personal army.

We can't -- and won't -- sit idly by while Trump makes a mockery of our freedoms.

That’s why I’m laser-focused on building Democratic power, in our district and across California, to strike a major blow to the Trump administration's anti-American agenda.
