Last month, we wrote to you about a disturbing case in Wisconsin where school officials are actively deceiving parents.
If a student is confused about gender or misled by the school’s strongly pro-transgender curriculum and expresses an interest in adopting a transgender identity, a Madison school district policy is designed to keep that information from the child’s parents. The policy requires all school employees to address the student by a new name and pronoun of the opposite sex, and even allow the student to use opposite sex facilities—all without parental notice or consent.
In fact, all school employees are instructed to further deceive parents by reverting to using the student’s normal name and pronoun when parents are around.
It’s hard to imagine that it could get any worse than school employees hiding important information about children from their parents. But it does… |
