Team, if you’ve seen any of the footage coming out of Minnesota, you know that ICE is completely out of control.

They are making a daily mockery of our Constitutional rights and what it means to be American. They have beaten and harassed US citizens and immigrants alike. In the case of Renee Good, they have proven to be a deadly, accountable force.

That’s why I’m reintroducing my bill in the Senate to end qualified immunity for ICE and all federal law enforcement. I’m asking for your support as I make this important push.

When masked ICE agents are allowed to kill and harm people with impunity, we have crossed a dangerous threshold in our nation.

All too often, the flawed doctrine of qualified immunity shields law enforcement officers from liability, even when they commit egregious misconduct or use excessive force.

It even shields them for being sued for violating basic Constitutional rights. It’s wrong, and it enables the worst of what we are seeing from ICE today.

My bill abolishes qualified immunity in cases against federal law enforcement officers, allowing victims to seek justice and restitution in court.

There couldn’t be a more urgent time to introduce this bill back into the Senate, and for this movement to stand together to demand accountability.
