As we approach the one-year mark of Trump’s second inauguration, MAGA is
staging January 20 as a show of force: using the Justice Department to
intimidate critics, distract the public, and make authoritarian control
feel routine.
On January 20:
• DOJ deadline for releasing new Epstein materials (will they blow this
one too?)
• DOJ launches a new fraud unit aimed at nonprofits and critics
• DOJ formally rolls back Biden-era consumer protections
• DOJ confirms a criminal investigation involving the Federal Reserve
chair
This is not coincidence. It is consolidation.
Stack deadlines. Launch investigations. Flood fear. Make power feel
untouchable. Make resistance feel dangerous, especially as the MAGA
project starts to crack.
