The Safeguarding America’s First Responders Act was passed by the House of Representatives and is now heading to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law.

This legislation helps the families of first responders who we lost to coronavirus have a clearer path to the financial support promised to them.

The Senate passed the Seeding Rural Resilience Act, which aims to address the farmer suicide crisis by increasing the accessibility and decreasing the stigma of mental health care in rural America.

Our country is facing the most serious public health crisis in generations. Skyrocketing drug price increases are a weight that Americans just shouldn’t have to bear, especially seniors on whom the coronavirus is taking a particular toll.

I’m advocating for the Prescription Drug Pricing Reduction Act to be in the next package of coronavirus relief from Congress.
