WASHINGTON: END MAIL-IN VOTING FOR NON-ABSENTEE VOTERS

America’s greatest strength is our sacred constitutional right to
vote. Yet in Washington State, that right is under siege from a broken
all-mail voting system that invites fraud, erodes public trust, and
leaves everyday Americans wondering if their voice truly counts. HOUSE
BILL 1584 is the long-overdue solution: it ends routine vote-by-mail
for non-absentee voters and restores secure, in-person voting at
polling places, where voters verify their identity face-to-face with
trained election officials and cast ballots under supervision. This
isn’t about suppression—it’s about protection.

This bill is timely. Just last week, an apartment building manager in
Pasco, Washington was arrested for forging signatures on multiple
ballots and submitting them in the 2024 general election.

“Voter fraud undermines the integrity of the electoral process and
erodes public confidence in the fairness of elections,” Sheriff Jim
Raymond said in response to the arrest. “The Franklin County
Sheriff’s Office takes violations of election law seriously and
remains committed to thoroughly investigating and pursuing election
related violations.”
