John, in 2018, I was on the front page of The New York Times wearing a shirt that said “Abolish ICE.”

I remember when they said taking this stance was unelectable.

But even in 2018, anyone could see where this was going. The violence ICE is perpetrating on our streets today was inevitable.

Now, the tides are shifting. Recent polling from YouGov shows public support for abolishing ICE is at an all-time high.

So like I said in 2018:

Abolish ICE.
