John, we may be on opposite sides of the country, but Maine and Alaska are sisters.

Maine and Alaska are both rural states. 90% of Maine is covered in forest, and Alaska is home to more than half of our country's wilderness.

Our communities are bonded by a sense of decency, helping our neighbors, and a love for the natural beauty of our great states.

And right now, Washington is getting in the way of our livelihoods.

Working families have been left behind in both our states. Our rural hospitals are being forced to shut their doors. People are going without healthcare because premiums have skyrocketed, thanks in no small part to the votes of Susan Collins and Dan Sullivan.

But we have something else in common, too: Two of the most competitive Senate races run through our states. In other words, the path to a Democratic Senate majority goes through us.

The Senate races in Alaska and Maine will decide if we stay on this path or change our course for better.
