Minnesota is at a crossroads.

The challenges we face today—rising costs, waste and fraud in state agencies, public safety concerns, struggling schools, and a business climate that’s losing its edge—didn’t happen overnight. They are the result of generations of political mismanagement caused by partisan politicians governing in silos, more focused on party agendas than real solutions.

For the first time in generations, Minnesotans have a viable, common-sense problem solver who is willing to challenge the broken status quo and ensure that the majority in the middle finally has a voice.

My name is Mike Newcome, and I’m running for Governor of Minnesota as an independent because we can’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome. I am not beholden to a political party, its agenda, or special interests. The only special interest I will ever represent is the people of Minnesota.

Minnesotans already know what happens when government operates in a silo, it fails. That’s why my approach is different. I believe it’s time to govern in a collaborative way, bringing Democrats, Republicans, and Independents together—because the majority in the middle deserves leadership that listens and delivers. Less theater. More leadership.

The message is simple and clear:
* A thriving business climate that supports local employers and working families
* An accountable and efficient government that stops waste, fraud, and abuse before it happens
* World-class public education that prepares our kids for the future
* And access to the good life for every Minnesotan, which starts with public safety

For the first time in generations, this election doesn’t have to be about voting against someone, it can be about voting for someone and for a better future.

But I can’t do this alone.

I need your help to get this message out and to let Minnesotans know there is a real alternative—a common-sense problem solver who will work for all Minnesotans, not a political party or special interests.

We’ve tried the same approach for far too long. It’s time for a new path.
