John, tariffs may not be at the top of headlines anymore, but they're still wreaking havoc on American families.

In a moment, we're going to explain exactly how these tariffs are hurting the American people and our standing around the world, but if you don't have time to read the entire message now, you can go ahead and make a donation toward our first mid-month goal of the year to help Chris fight back. >> [link removed]

Since he took office, Trump's tariffs have wrecked our economy. His trade wars are still driving up prices for American families while pushing international partners toward new markets where they feel more welcome and more secure.

Despite what he claims, it's not foreign governments paying the price; it's us. It's hardworking Americans who are stuck paying more for everyday necessities. It's the small manufacturers losing contracts to competitors overseas. It's the families who are told they should be grateful for "economic strength," even as their bills increase and opportunities dry up.

If this is what Trump means by putting America first, we need to ask: Who, exactly, is winning?

Chris has always been a big believer in the Delaware way. Even when we disagree, he will always be an advocate for coming to the table in good faith and walking away with a solution that benefits everyone. That's true in Congress, and it's just as true when we engage with the rest of the world. When we trade with other nations, we're not just exchanging goods — we're building mutual trust and reinforcing values that contribute to peace and prosperity on a global scale.

American families and small businesses simply cannot afford Trump’s economic dysfunction. We need to reassert America's role as a trusted partner, not a belligerent power. That kind of leadership starts with electing Democrats who understand what's at stake and will prioritize working people over political theater. Chris is proud to be one of those voices, but he can't do it alone.

If you're ready for a new direction, chip in today toward our mid-month goal. With your support, we can push back against Trump's failed vision and build a future that actually delivers for the American people. >> [link removed]
