We’re officially in the midterm election year. November may seem far away, but our race is kicking into high gear early: The Illinois primary is just over two months away, and we’re facing challengers from all sides.

I first ran for Congress to bring my fight for working families to the forefront -- and the national GOP didn’t like it one bit. I defeated their self-funded candidate and flipped this seat from red to blue back in 2022, and since then, we’ve faced attacks from Republicans who want to flip it back and maintain the MAGA status quo.
