We are so incredibly grateful for everyone that supports our mission to advocate for the rights of unaccompanied immigrant children and their families.

Thanks to your support we were able to exceed our End-of-Year fundraising goal and raise over $1.5 million. Your generous contributions show that despite these challenging times, our community is fierce and fighting back! Moreover, your support guarantees that in the coming months, our staff can continue to provide vital services to children in federal custody. From all of us at the Young Center, thank you!

This Spring, join our community of hundreds of Volunteer Child Advocates across the country who provide accompaniment to unaccompanied immigrant children, and advocate for their rights and best interests while in government custody.

Interested in learning more about how you can fight for the rights of immigrant children? The Young Center is hosting virtual information sessions on January 14, 20, and 29 to help you learn what it means to be a Volunteer Child Advocate. 

Stay tuned for our updated volunteer training dates. Starting in March, our trainings will be ongoing across our 10 office locations. We welcome volunteers from all cultures, professions, races, ethnicities and social backgrounds. Advocates must be at least 21 years old. 

Join Georgetown University's Collaborative on Global Children's Issues in their upcoming webinar titled "Child-Family Separation and Immigration Enforcement in the United States".

During this webinar, panelists will discuss child and family rights in the context of immigration enforcement, the scale and scope of the child-family separation crisis, legislative oversight, and child- and family-centered responses. The Young Center's Co-director of the Technical Assistance Program, Kelly Kribs, will be a part of this important conversation.

Young Center Changemakers for Immigrant Children are individuals across the globe who believe every immigrant child deserves to be safe, free from detention, and with their families in community. They help spread the word about the Young Center’s work, build community, and take meaningful action to support immigrant children wherever they are. 

Changemakers are part of a growing movement to uplift immigrant children’s voices, connect others to the Young Center’s mission, and inspire change in their communities worldwide.
