As we reflect on 2025, I want to say thank you for being part of the Playworks community.

This year marks Playworks’ 30th anniversary. What began in 1995 on a single schoolyard has grown into a national movement, partnering with schools and youth organizations across the country to bring the benefits of play to millions of kids.

Kids like Mikela and the over 89,000 Junior Coach Leaders we’ve supported, who found confidence, connection, and leadership through play. Their stories are a powerful reminder that play doesn’t just fill recess time; it shapes how kids see themselves and each other. 

There’s still time to be a part of this moment. A gift today helps ensure Playworks continues to expand its reach, bringing the power of play to more kids, more schools, and more communities in the years ahead.
