Hi John,
Yesterday, Katie delivered her State of the State address. She outlined her goals and priorities for the year ahead, and reiterated her commitment to building a better state today and for the future.
Katie knows just how special Arizona is. She grew up in a family that relied on food stamps to get by and went on to be the first in her family to graduate college — from two of our state’s public universities.
She became a social worker supporting domestic violence victims and took that experience into the state legislature to make lives better.
She raised two kids during the Great Recession and had her home foreclosed on, but has never stopped fighting for our families even as hers struggled.
Only in Arizona is a story like that possible, and as governor Katie is working to ensure all Arizonans can achieve the Arizona Promise.
But all of that is at stake if Katie isn’t re-elected in November – and major election pundits have already called this race a pure toss-up so we can’t take anything for granted. That’s where she’s relying on you.
