We’re kicking off 2026 with a Day of Action on the Hill—disco style! 🪩🕺

Join us on Wednesday, January 21st to tell Congress, “Sparkle in 2026! Don’t be disco-nnected from families!” 

We’re dancing our way onto the Hill next week to turn up the volume on families’ voices and lift up the priorities of moms, parents, and caregivers to our country’s leaders. We’ll have some fun, free disco ball costumes and kids activities for the little ones, brunch (brunch!!), and, yes, we will also have lots of sparkly accessories for us grownups to wear, too!

Why the disco costumes and theme? Studies show that one of the only ways to break through partisan mindsets is with humor! So we’re bringing the sparkle directly to the U.S. Capitol with the disco theme and costumes to help create change. We also need to be remembered—and we'll create a glittery groove that can’t be ignored! 

What can you expect? 

• We’ll host a meet-up near the U.S. House Office Buildings and quick training over brunch at 10:00 AM, meet with some Congressional champions, then hand-deliver storybooks to key U.S. House offices to uplift the voices and priorities of moms and families heading into 2026.
• We’ll head to the hill to deliver the storybooks around 11:00 AM. 
• Bring your kiddo(s)! We’ll have disco-ball costumes for our littlest attendees and ways for everyone to get involved. 
• Together, we’ll stand up for what families care about most and make our voices heard.
• Connect with MomsRising staff and other fired-up moms, caregivers, and people who love them!
• Stay however long you can! If you can’t stay past 11:00 AM to help us deliver storybooks, that’s ok! We’d still love for you to join us for brunch.
