Hey, it’s Sarah here.

I’m sitting in my car right now, but I wanted to check in with you quickly before I hit the road for my next campaign stop.

I just got off the phone with my campaign manager, Zach, and he told me January has been off to a pretty slow start. Well, actually, his exact words were “January’s looking bleak.”

John, I’d bet good money that you didn’t wake up this morning thinking “I’m going to chip in to Sarah Trone Garriott’s campaign today”, but I wouldn’t be reaching out if this wasn’t important.

Our fundraising early in 2026 carries a lot of weight for our campaign’s decisions. We saw a ton of enthusiasm last year when we launched our campaign, but now is the true test of our team. We have to sustain that momentum so we can defeat Zach Nunn and finally flip IA-03 blue?

We’re doing something incredible here in Iowa’s Third District, I can feel it. So I’d really hate to pull back just because we don’t have the resources to stay competitive.

That’s why I’m humbly asking today: Can you chip in a few dollars to my campaign to help us get back on track this month? We’ll be doing a deep dive into our fundraising numbers after our Thursday deadline, so it’d mean a lot if you could give before that to help us get back on track.
