Hi John, it’s Josh Shapiro. I wanted to quickly reach out and say thank you for your continued support of our reelection campaign during Launch Week — and to ask if you’ll chip in $5 or more to help us keep up the momentum from now until November.

But if you have a moment, I want to share a story with you as well:

A few short years ago, just months before the good people of Pennsylvania elected me as their Governor in 2022, we were running a campaign that looked a little bit different from our opponent’s.

We showed up everywhere. We treated everyone with respect. We brought more people into the fold of this movement than ever before. And John, on Election Day, we didn’t just win. We won in places that hadn’t voted for a Democrat in a long, long time.

Together, we sent a clear message across the country: in Pennsylvania, hope is stronger than fear. Unity is stronger than division. And our freedoms are more important than partisan ideology.

Since day one, those values have guided my leadership as Governor. And John, that’s exactly how we’ve been able to accomplish so much for the good people of Pennsylvania. Tripling the Child Care Tax Credit, cutting taxes seven times, and investing historic amounts in public education to give our kids the opportunity to succeed — just to name a few.

But we can’t be naive: Pennsylvania is a battleground state like no other, and if the far-right wins this race come November? They won’t hesitate for a second to drag our Commonwealth backwards.

That’s why I need you with me, John. After 2024, I’m one of the last statewide Democrats left in Pennsylvania — so we need to hold the line. Please, if there’s ever been a time to double down on your support, it’s right now. Can I count on your support?
