Dear New Jersey Democrat, 

We’re writing to you today to share information about two upcoming events focused on honoring servicemembers, veterans, and their families throughout our state. 

The first is an event organized as part of the inauguration of Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill. On January 16, she will be hosting a Military Family Appreciation Day at the Nickelodeon Universe Amusement Park in the American Dream mall. Children and their families will have the chance to enjoy the park as we recognize military families’ service, sacrifice and resilience. Governor-elect Sherrill is herself a Navy veteran as is her husband. 

The second is hosted by the NJDSC Veterans Caucus. Join us on January 28 as we recognize the veterans and volunteers who powered the election of Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill, Lt. Governor-elect Dr. Dale Caldwell, and Democratic successes down the ballot. All are welcome to attend.
