Republicans in the House and Senate are attempting to fast-track DHS funding. They’re pushing for speed to avoid accountability. Speak out now.

People For the American Way.

Friend –

Senate and House Republicans are pushing to pass a funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security this week – with no new restrictions on ICE or Border Patrol.

They’ve seen the national backlash. They’ve seen the polling showing most of the nation in opposition to ICE and their tactics. And instead of responding with accountability, they’re doubling down – trying to jam this through before anyone has time to organize real opposition.

Sign the petition now to demand accountability while there’s still time to change the bill. >>

There are no limits in this bill. No reforms. No consequences. Just more money and more power for agencies already abusing both.

They’re not moving this quickly because the bill is strong. They’re doing it because they know it won’t hold up under scrutiny. No reasonable person defends what ICE and Border Patrol have become – a weapon of enforcement for the Trump regime’s barbaric immigration policy. So Republicans are trying to bury the debate and pass the funding before the public can stop them.

If Republicans succeed in rushing this vote, it won’t be because they made their case. It’ll be because they counted on silence.

Prove them wrong.

Add your name now. Don’t let this pass quietly.
