Dear John,

50CAN’s vision has always been to support local leaders while they work to improve education in the states they live in and know best. That's why, today, I’m thrilled to share the launch of two new state campaigns as part of the 50CAN family: OhioKidsCAN in Ohio and Battle Born Kids Matter in Nevada. This expansion means our network of passionate advocates now stretches across 12 states, working together to ensure every child has access to a great education.

OhioKidsCAN, led by Political Director Amber Keener, will empower families, community leaders and advocates in the Buckeye State to push for stronger education policies, options and systems. And out West, Battle Born Kids Matter, led by Executive Director of Policy Patricia Haddad Bennett, will advocate for more high-quality schools by mobilizing communities and championing practical solutions to the Silver State’s education challenges. These two experienced leaders share a deep commitment to kids and bold visions for the future. I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Amber and Patricia into our network.

As always I want to thank you, our supporters and partners, for making moments like this possible. Your time and investment have fueled our growth, and today that means more communities will have dedicated advocates fighting for their students.
