Wisconsin lawmakers are advancing permitless carry—legislation that would allow people to carry hidden, loaded guns in public with no background check or training. Moving this bill forward would make Wisconsin less safe.
Last week, something important happened at the Capitol. At public hearings, gun violence prevention advocates showed up in force and outnumbered NRA-backed speakers . That momentum matters—and keeping it going is how we stop dangerous bills like permitless carry.
