john,

After a very restful holiday, this campaign is back in the swing of things!

We're rolling up our sleeves, finalizing our plans for the on-year and deciding what we need to do to not just hold WA-08, but flip the House blue this November.

A big part of our plan is budgeting out each part of our campaign for the year–how much we need to spend on campaign literature; on pens and clipboards for volunteers; on lawn signs to spread across the district; on ads that we'll need to run on the airwaves and across social media.

To meet our budget, we have to continue hitting our critical fundraising goals. Right now, we're facing our very first hurdle of the new year: Our mid-month deadline.

Every goal we set is intentional. It's a checkpoint to make sure we're on track to afford every part of this campaign listed above. And, by the way, we run a tight ship. This is how we stay competitive in a swing-district race where we already have three Republican opponents.

john, we all know how critical it is to stop the Republicans this November. Their agenda is flawed. They aren’t tackling the issues Americans care about, like healthcare, the cost of living, and safety. Instead, they’re focused on anti-vaccine conspiracies, restricting abortion access, halting immigration, and undermining voting rights and our democracy. Frankly, what they are most concerned about seems to be making sure they stay in lockstep with President Trump. They will continue to force this un-American agenda on us unless we stop them by winning back the majority.

They're doing everything they can to hold onto their fragile majority. They are raising mountains of cash, cozying up with special interests, rigging congressional maps to favor their party, and attacking vote-by-mail to tip the scales in their favor. But let's get one thing straight, john:

If you have to rig the system to win, you shouldn't be in office in the first place.

The American people have made it clear they're ready for a different path. We need a blue House where leaders put people before politics and a Congress that leads by putting our communities first, not special interests. Victory starts with reaching our very first fundraising goal of 2026.

Before our mid-month fundraising deadline, can I count on you to chip in $5 to help us flip the House and keep WA-08 blue?
