Operation Absolute Resolve

Honoring our Law Enforcement Officers
On Friday, we recognized National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who wear the badge in the 16th District and across our nation.
I thank them for their selfless service and unwavering commitment to protecting our families, communities, and the rule of law!

Meeting with Stephenson County Mayors
I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Winslow Village President Ron Pina and Cedarville Village President Jeremy Monigold while in Stephenson County.
We had a great discussion on their priorities, upcoming projects, and ways my office can assist their communities.

Discussing Ag Priorities with the Jo Daviess Farm Bureau
Thanks to the Jo Daviess Farm Bureau for hosting me in Elizabeth today to go over critical ag and trade policies that will come before the House this year.
Representing one of the largest ag districts in the country, I always appreciate getting input directly from 16th District farmers!

Touring the Rochelle Community Hospital
Critical Access Hospitals are vital to the health and wellbeing of families in rural communities across the 16th District.
Thanks to Rochelle Community Hospital CEO Karen Tracy and her team for meeting with me to discuss ways to strengthen our rural hospitals and for their commitment to supporting patients in Ogle County!

Visiting Northern Illinois University
It was great to be on NIU's campus to tour their Bioplastics Lab, where incredibly bright students are working to turn soy and other agriculture products into building materials, utensils, and 3D printing filaments.
I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with President Lisa Freeman as well to talk about my continued support for higher education and our ag industry in Illinois!
Go Huskies!!

National Milk Day
Yesterday was National Milk Day, where we took a moment to recognize the hardworking dairy farmers across the country.
Thankful for all our 16th District dairy farmers who work tirelessly to feed our families, strengthen our rural communities, and fuel our economy!
My Time at Midwest Medical Center
Grateful to all the staff at Midwest Medical Center in Galena for their work to provide high-quality care to patients and residents in Jo Daviess County!
I appreciate their CEO Tracy Bauer hosting me for a tour and discussion on how we can strengthen our healthcare workforce and lower healthcare costs for Illinoisans.
One More Thing: Congratulations to Illinois State on a Historic Year!
The Redbirds made our Central Illinois community proud with this historic run and a hard-fought championship game.
Congratulations to Coach Spack, the staff, and all the players on an incredible season!
It is a privilege to serve the constituents of Illinois' 16th Congressional District. Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. Please do not hesitate to reach out to one of my offices if we can ever be of assistance.
