Now that we’re in 2026, I wanted to share a few updates with you.

➔ We have a Republican challenger. Peter Oberacker filed to run against me last year, and he’s already been exposed for lying about where he was born, nearly hiring a Nazi sympathizer as a campaign advisor, and cashing a check from NYSEG just weeks before their latest rate hike.

➔ We can’t take back the House if we lose in NY-19. If we want to regain control of the House in the midterms, we can’t lose critical toss-up seats like mine. So, every day from now until November, our team will be doing all we can to make sure we defend this seat.

➔ Our campaign is still completely grassroots. I’ve never taken a single dime from corporate PACs, and I never will. Instead, this campaign is completely fueled by grassroots contributions from folks like you.
