A New Year of Results

Dear John,

One year into Governor Mike Braun’s administration, Indiana is seeing clear results from leadership focused on public safety, economic strength, and accountability. Hoosiers are safer today thanks to decisive action to crack down on drugs and dangerous driving, while bold investments are positioning Indiana at the forefront of national security and advanced technology. From removing opioids from our streets to earning a nationally designated drone testing site, Governor Braun is proving that Indiana can lead—protecting families today while building opportunity for the future.

As President Trump takes decisive action to protect the homeland and dismantle international narco-terror networks, Indiana Republicans have begun the legislative session with an agenda focused on lowering costs, cutting red tape, and keeping Indiana one of the fastest-growing states in the country. With candidate filing now open and the 2026 election cycle underway, Republicans are preparing to take this record to voters, showing Hoosiers that American first leadership delivers safer communities, a stronger economy, and a government that works for the people.

As always, thank you for being a part of our team, and please feel free to reach out if there's any way I can be of assistance.

Yours in service,

Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman

Governor Braun, Indiana State Police Keep Hoosiers Safe

One year into Governor Braun's administration, Indiana witnessed a 117% increase in opioid seizures, a 60% decrease in overdose deaths, a 17% increase in OWI arrests, and an 8.3% decrease in statewide fatal crashes.

“One of our top priorities is to ensure Hoosiers have a safe place to raise their families. Thanks to the incredible work of the Indiana State Police, who have gone above and beyond to remove drugs from the streets and impaired drivers from the roads, Indiana is a safer place. I want to thank them and all our Hoosier law enforcement for all they do to protect our communities and families.”

Governor Braun Secures National Drone Test Site Designation for Indiana, Leading in White House Initiative for American Drone Dominance

Governor Braun’s effort to position Indiana to lead in American drone technology saw a massive win this week, with Indiana being chosen as one of two states to win a designated national drone testing site, making Indiana one of the first new UAS testing grounds in nearly a decade.

"Indiana is taking a leading role in President Trump’s mission to unleash American drone dominance. This new national drone test site designation will attract high-paying jobs and defense tech investment, and is a major victory in my initiative to position Indiana as the premier state partner for the defense industry to build, invest, and grow.”
