Every year, our team endorses dozens (if not hundreds) of candidates running for office in localities and states across the country. We support leaders who are best aligned with a future where everyone can build families free of government control, in safe and sustainable communities.

When candidates apply for our endorsement, we ask them questions about many issues, not just abortion policy. One of those issues is their approach to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Just the other day, ICE agents deployed chemical irritants and physically assaulted several people at a high school, resulting in multiple school districts closing their doors to protect children, staff, and parents throughout Minneapolis. And this isn’t an isolated incident.

These escalations fly in the face of an America where we can raise thriving families free from government control.

For nearly 10 years, Vote Pro-Choice has used a holistic approach in our endorsement process, elevating candidates who understand that true reproductive freedom requires access to comprehensive healthcare and community safety—because when these kinds of attacks happen, officials like mayors, district and county attorneys, and governors are our first line of defense.

Thankfully, we continue to be inspired by the courage and tenacity of dedicated leaders rising to the moment. Thank you for being with us in the fight to protect freedom for families.
