New year. New threats to justice and democracy.

With over 50 years of experience leading efforts against hate through policy advocacy, litigation, public education and research — and supporters like you — we’re ready to take them on.

Here’s a note from Rachel Goldwasser, who tracks and exposes hate and extremist groups for the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project, on what’s in store in 2026:

“My team’s research is critical to countering far-right disinformation and conspiracy theories with real data about hate and extremist group activity and prevention resources that help communities. This will be crucial in 2026, as hateful ideologies and once-fringe conspiracy theories continue to show up in our news feeds and on our streets. Hate groups’ rhetoric, like the white nationalist great replacement conspiracy theory, are being used by people in positions of power and influence to justify intrusions on our civil liberties and erosions of our democracy.”

Justice work never stops, and neither can we — especially right now. Add your name to our 2026 Pledge to Stand Against Hate. ([link removed])

Right now, hate is far too common in our country — and when it shows up, we all bear the responsibility of countering and resisting it. Thank you for believing in our work for justice — you give us our power.
