Hi John,
Taxfighters like you forced Ottawa to end the consumer carbon tax because it made life more expensive and didn’t work.
But the federal government did NOT end all carbon taxes.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is cranking up the hidden industrial carbon tax on Canadian businesses, such as oil and gas, steel and fertilizer companies, among others.
“In changing the carbon tax … We are making the large companies pay for everybody,” Carney said.
Carney wants you to think businesses will pay the cost of his carbon tax.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation works for you. And we want to know who you think will ultimately pay the cost of a carbon tax on Canadian business. Do you think businesses will just pay the tax? Or do you think companies will pass on those costs to you through higher prices?
You can give us your input by answering the one-question survey below.

THANK YOU for taking the time to give us your input on carbon taxes.
Too many politicians and pundits go on TV and pretend they know what you think. But the Canadian Taxpayers Federation doesn’t want to operate that way. You give us our marching orders and your input allows us to better hold politicians and government bureaucrats accountable to YOU.
All the best,
