Team,
I want to touch base with you as we kick off the first fundraising quarter of this election year.
Donald Trump carried this district, and I won by less than 2.8%. That makes Nevada’s 3rd District one of the most competitive races in the entire country — and a top target for national Republicans looking to protect their narrow House majority.
They’re not wasting any time. Outside groups have already spent nearly $500,000 attacking me, even this early in the election cycle. That level of spending is a clear signal of how seriously they’re taking this contest.
Here’s the thing: while they’re focused on attacks, I’ve been focused on delivering.
Just this month, I helped secure over $4.4 million in federal funding for southern Nevada — investments that will:
-
Improve water safety and storage for families in Laughlin
-
Strengthen public safety, including new equipment for Metro Police air support and Nevada State Police training
-
Help firefighters respond more safely to lithium-ion battery fires, a growing risk in our community
That’s what bipartisan, results-driven leadership looks like — and it’s exactly why extremists want me out.
Q1 fundraising is critical because it sets the tone for everything that follows. A strong first quarter allows us to scale voter outreach early, respond to attacks fast, and show national Democrats that this seat is worth fighting for.
Grassroots support at the start of the year is one of the strongest signals we can send.
Can you chip in $20 — or whatever you can — to help us start Q1 strong and stay on offense?
This race isn’t just about one district. It’s about protecting common-sense leadership and stopping extremists from tightening their grip on power in the House.
Thanks for being in this fight with me from the very beginning of this year.
